The Value Case
The Cadet 3 costs $180 at Home Depot. The Toto Drake II we recommend costs $380. The difference: $200 per toilet. In a four-bathroom house, that’s $800. Is the Toto $800 better than four Cadet 3s? In reliability over time, likely yes. In daily use, the gap is smaller than the price difference suggests. For rentals, guest baths, and basement bathrooms: buy the Cadet 3.
